WOW Carwash Donates $1 From Every Retail Wash Purchased on Aug. 10, to Support Summerlin South Little League

Cheering on the hometown Summerlin South Little League team, WOW Carwash will donate $1 of every retail wash purchased Sunday, Aug. 10, at any of its 17 locations in the Las Vegas valley from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. (open to close) to support the team’s travel expenses to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn.

“From every corner of our community, we send our best wishes to the Summerlin South Little League team as they take the field in the World Series starting Wednesday,” said Dan Grace, CFO of WOW Carwash. “We hope that when everyone is out and about tomorrow, getting ready for the start of school, that they stop by one of our 17 locations to get a car wash and support the team."

Grace added that WOW Carwash will pledge at least $5,000 to the team, but is hopeful that thousands of guests come out tomorrow to increase the total donation.

“On behalf of the team, which is already on its way to Williamsport, we are very grateful for the support of WOW Carwash,” said Chris Mallory, president of Summerlin South Little League.  “Having the community come together to support the families of these boys who have traveled to the regional tournament and now to the World Series is amazing.”

A WOW Carwash representative and Chris Mallory will be at the WOW Carwash on 6550 S. Fort Apache Rd., Las Vegas, Nev., 89148 (Fort Apache Road south of Sunset Road) from 1 to 2 p.m. tomorrow to personally thank WOW Guests who purchase a car wash to support the team.

The $1 donation from any retail wash includes the WOW Max, WOW Wash, and Clean Wash.
