Tidal Wave Auto Spa Charity Day Raises a Record $864,075 Across 295 Locations
Tidal Wave Auto Spa announces its 17th annual Charity Day raised a record-breaking $864,075. The event, held on Friday, Sept. 19, benefited 268 local organizations and nonprofits. This year’s Tidal Wave Charity Day was the company’s largest yet. It featured 295 participating locations across Tidal Wave’s 30-state footprint. Tidal Wave has now donated more than $2.8 million through Charity Day.
Each participating Tidal Wave location selects a local charity or nonprofit organization. That organization receives 50% of the site’s proceeds. They also receive any on-site donations. Tidal Wave donates the other 50% of proceeds to Annandale Village, the company’s longtime corporate partner. This nonprofit organization provides progressive life assistance. It serves adults with developmental disabilities across the country.
“Each year, Charity Day reminds us how powerful our communities are when they come together for a good cause,” said Scott Blackstock, CEO and founder of Tidal Wave Auto Spa. “We’re incredibly grateful for our customers’ continued support and for the incredible local organizations that are making a difference every day. We are honored to play a part in making a positive difference alongside them through these donations.”
Tidal Wave’s annual Charity Day event earned three consecutive gold Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards. The awards recognized the event for Best Initiative for Philanthropy and Corporate Giving. Tidal Wave also gives back year-round through its fundraising program. This program has helped generate over $5 million. It supports local schools, churches and civic groups. The program provides a simple, fast and convenient way to raise money.
