Connecticut-Based Splash Car Wash Continues Expansion in Long Island

Admin |

Based in Milford, Connecticut, Splash Car Wash announced it acquired USA Car Wash in Hempstead, New York. This acquisition marks Splash’s 69th location and its 43rd in New York, continuing the company’s Long Island car wash expansion strategy.

Splash will convert the new location to a Splash Express over the next few months. The team will install all new equipment and add self-service vacuums.

“We will operate it as an express wash with flex full service and detail available,” stated Dan Petrelle, CEO of Splash. Petrelle added, “We are excited to expand our footprint on Long Island. This is our fourth location there, and we have additional sites lined up to acquire and develop over the next few months in that market.”

Splash plans to begin renovations in September. The site will close for two weeks during the conversion.

Splash currently has four new express washes under construction in Newburgh and Nanuet, New York. Another location is in Springfield, Massachusetts. These sites have anticipated openings in late fall 2025. The company expects the fourth new site in Syracuse, New York, to open in the first quarter of 2026.
