RipTide Car Wash Charity Drives Raises $11,490 for Hurricane Helene Relief

The RipTide Car Wash charity Game Room Giveaway & Charity Drive raised $11,490 to support ongoing recovery efforts for communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.

“We’re overwhelmed by the generosity and excitement from our customers,” said Chris Gardner, CEO of RipTide Car Wash. “This campaign was about more than just incredible prizes — it was about restoring hope. Every dollar raised is going directly to support rebuilding communities that are still rebuilding one year after the storm hit.”

RipTide ran the “Game Room Giveaway & Charity Drive” through April at all locations in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The campaign encouraged community engagement through donations and social media participation.

Organizations in the car wash industry also supported the cause. ChemQuest, a supplier of professional grade car wash products, joined the effort. RipTide is a ChemQuest customer.

The RipTide Car Wash charity drive offered a rare, custom 1965 Ford Mustang® Pool Table as the grand prize. This Collector’s Edition pool table is the only officially licensed version for Ford Motor Company. The table includes its own “VIN” number and genuine Mustang parts.

RipTide announced Jonathan Simms as the grand prize winner of this unique collector’s item. The table features real chrome car parts, working lights, authentic alloy rims and tires. It serves as the ultimate game room centerpiece.

“I cannot express how excited I am to have been selected as the recipient of the grand prize,” said Simms. “My grandfather had that exact ’65 Mustang convertible in that same beautiful red color many moons ago when I was a child, so nostalgia instantly struck as I was flooded with fond memories.”
