ZIPS Car Wash will celebrate upgrades at two remodeled locations in West Texas next week. Ribbon-cutting ceremonies mark part of the company’s 35 site remodels completed in 2025. Guests can enjoy free washes and giveaways at both events.

The first ribbon cutting begins Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 11:30 a.m. with the Plainview Chamber of Commerce at ZIPS, 4104 Olton Rd., Plainview, Texas, 79072. Guests can enjoy free ZIPS swag, air fresheners, refreshments and popcorn from local vendor Howdy Popcorn while supplies last.

The second celebration happens Thursday, Oct. 30, at 11:30 a.m. with the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce at ZIPS, 4106 Sherwood Way, San Angelo, Texas, 76901. The company invites guests to visit and experience the ZIPS Car Wash upgrades firsthand.

Pete Nani, CEO of ZIPS Car Wash, said the changes make a visible difference for customers. “Our carwashes are delivering an excellent product and superior shine because of the efforts of our team members, maintenance technicians and our vendor partners who have worked tirelessly to elevate our services in Plainview and San Angelo,” he said.

In addition to the remodels, ZIPS continues to support Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides scholarships for military families. ZIPS will recognize Brianne Mae Pruitt of Lubbock, Texas, at the Plainview event. Brianne, a junior at Lubbock Christian University, studies integrated marketing communication. Her father, Sgt. John Britton Pruitt, served over five years in the U.S. Marine Corps, was deployed to the Persian Gulf and was disabled in the line of duty.

ZIPS will present a $170,000 donation to Folds of Honor next month. The gift, made possible by ZIPS customers nationwide, helps fund educational opportunities for deserving families. The company encourages everyone to thank a U.S. service member for their sacrifice and attend the local ribbon cuttings celebrating ZIPS Car Wash upgrades across West Texas.
