LUBBOCK, Texas, September 30th, 2026 – Mister Car Wash, Inc., the nation’s largest car wash brand announced that starting today, they are celebrating the completion of its Lubbock expansion with five days of free car washes, school fundraising initiatives, and a citywide ribbon-cutting tour planned for October 3rd.
The celebration coincides with the opening of the final former Whistle Express location converted to the Mister Car Wash brand, completing the integration of the company's Lubbock market. With nine locations now serving drivers across the city, Mister Car Wash operates the largest car wash network in the Lubbock area. The completion of the conversion effort marks the first time all nine Lubbock locations are operating together under the Mister Car Wash brand.
While free washes begin today through Sunday, October 4th, across all nine locations, the celebration will culminate on Saturday, October 3rd, with a rolling citywide ribbon-cutting tour visiting all nine Mister Car Wash locations across Lubbock. The citywide celebration symbolizes the unification of the market under one Mister Car Wash brand and reinforces the company's long-term commitment to serving the Lubbock community.
