Akron, OH — Qual Chem is continuing to expand its Sales Team with the addition of Ken Calvert as Western Sales Account Manager. In this role, Ken will support car wash partners and distributors across the Western United States, bringing a relationship-driven approach and deep industry experience to the region.
Ken brings more than two decades of experience in the car wash industry, beginning his career with Pro-Tech Service Co. in October 2000. After a brief time in the IT field from 2008 to 2011, he returned to Pro-Tech where he continued to build his expertise through 2024. Most recently, Ken was with NEXUS from 2025 to 2026. His deep industry knowledge and long-standing relationships make him a strong addition to the Qual Chem team.

Ken’s background is as diverse as his experience. Born in Nuremberg, Germany, he grew up in a military family, living in Washington, Virginia, Okinawa, Japan, and California before settling in the Dallas Metroplex in 1995. These experiences helped shape his adaptability, work ethic, and people-first mindset that he brings to every customer interaction.
When not in a car wash, Ken enjoys coaching youth sports and is passionate about helping shape young athletes into great adults. He also values time with family and friends and can often be found cheering on the Baltimore Orioles. Ken and his wife of 23 years, Nicole Nasca-Calvert, have two children, a 21-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son.
