Moo Moo Express and Flying Ace Express announced a strategic investment partnership with Wildcat Capital Management, the family office of TPG Capital co-founder, David Bonderman.
The investment will enable Moo Moo and Flying Ace to continue to build on their success, and further accelerate growth and expansion into new Ohio-based markets.
As a result of the transaction, Moo Moo and Flying Ace will join under a newly formed parent
company Express Wash Concepts.
Moo Moo Founder and Managing Partner, John Roush, will
serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Express Wash Concepts, while Flying Ace Co-Founders
Dan Eisenhauer and Jeff Gilger will assume the roles of Vice President of Operations and Vice
President of Development. Moo Moo and Flying Ace operate a total of 16 locations today, with
additional washes planned for 2018.
“We are excited to welcome Wildcat Capital Management as our new strategic partner,” said
John Roush, CEO of Express Wash Concepts. “Wildcat’s investment into our business will enable
us to further strengthen our product offerings and offer our customers the convenience of locations throughout the state of Ohio.”
Wildcat was immediately impressed with Moo Moo and Flying Ace’s customer- and employee first approach to the business. “Treating customers and employees as family, while providing a
high-quality car wash experience, are what the Moo Moo and Flying Ace brands stand for in
Ohio,” said Drew Tarlow, Principal at Wildcat Capital Management. “Their recognized expertise
in customer service, operations, site design and construction serves as a strong foundation to
build a much larger platform in the years to come. We’re very excited to be their partners for
that period of growth.”
Express Wash Concepts will continue to have its headquarters in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Ice Miller
LLP and Crowe Horwath LLP advised Express Wash Concepts on the transaction, and Winston &
Strawn LLP, Plante Moran and Aon advised Wildcat Capital Management.
