Carrie Berran, a member of the team at Hydra-Flex, Inc., a manufacturer of innovative fluid handling equipment has been named one of eight national semifinalists for Jr. NBA Coach of the Year.
Berran has been recognized by the Minnesota Timberwolves/Lynx for her dedication and influence on Minnesota’s youth basketball community, is an integral part of the Eagan Athletic Association, and the HR Representative at Hydra-Flex, Inc.
The Jr. NBA and Positive Coaching Alliance have designed the program to honor and recognize influential youth basketball coaches and the impressive work they do for basketball around the country. The Jr. NBA Coach of the Year Award is awarded to a youth basketball coach in an NBA team market who is making an inspiring difference on children by demonstrating integrity, character, and leadership.
“These semifinalists were selected because they have not only been successful in bettering their athletes on the court, but have also shown that their main focus was to make these athletes better people in their communities,” says the Jr. NBA.
