The newest Mike's Carwash at 814 Eastgate N. Drive celebrated its Grand Opening with a Free Ultimate Wash Weekend. 3,115 cars were washed and $10,058.90 was raised in donations for A Kid Again.
"A Kid Again is grateful to Mike's Carwash for including us in their Grand Opening," says Liz Koszuta, executive director of A Kid Again. "The support of partners like Mike's makes it possible for families with children battling life threatening illnesses to take regular time outs from illness at group outings to premier local venues throughout the year. Thank you to Mike's and their generous patrons for improving the lives of 900 local families."
"Considering the day of rain that we endured during the weekend, we were absolutely blown away that our customers donated over $10,000 for A Kid Again during our Eastgate Grand Opening Event," says Mike Dahm, president of Mike's Carwash. "Thank you to all of our customers and Team Members that made our Free Ultimate Wash Weekend so successful."
