Flying Ace Express Car Wash announced the donation of $1,000 to Greater Dayton’s For the Love of Children, Inc. (FLOC) and $500 to the Dayton Children’s Hospital. The monetary donations were collected on behalf of Flying Ace Express and its customers during two recent donation campaigns.
On Dec. 6 at the Flying Ace Express Far Hills location, all car wash proceeds during a 2-hour “Car Wash for a Cause” campaign were designated for FLOC’s “Christmas For Kids” program, which provides more than 2,600 Dayton area children in need with Christmas gifts and warm outerwear. Flying Ace also participated in the K99.1 FM Cares for Kids Radiothon Nov. 7-9, in which $1 donations were collected at the wash kiosk at all Flying Ace Express locations, with all proceeds benefiting Dayton Children’s Hospital.
“One of our top priorities here at Flying Ace Express is to give back to a community which has given us so much. We can’t think of a better way to do this than by helping Greater Dayton children in need, especially this time of year,” said Dan Eisenhauer, Flying Ace Express Car Wash Partner and Express Wash Concepts Vice President of Operations. “In 2018 alone, we are proud to have donated thousands of dollars to support local organizations including Dayton Children’s Hospital, FLOC, Moms 4 Miracles, SICSA, The Alzheimer’s Association and Volunteers of America.”
For the Love of Children, Inc. is a volunteer group that provides financial, educational and advocacy support to youth throughout the greater Dayton area. FLOC volunteers are passionate about caring for children who are neglected and abused, children in foster care and children in need of community resource.
Dayton Children’s Hospital is committed to the health and well-being of the children in the Dayton community, with a mission of improving the health status of all children through service, education, research and advocacy. Each year the hospital sees over 300,000 patients and performs more than 11,000 surgeries.
Flying Ace Express Car Wash currently operates in the following Dayton area neighborhoods: Beavercreek, Washington Township and Huber Heights, with two additional locations currently under construction in Beavercreek and Englewood. Further new location announcements are expected in 2019.
