Brianna Trafton

Brianna Trafton is an employee of Blue Cow Carwash in Anacortes, WA, and a graduating senior at Anacortes High School.

About her experience working at Blue Cow Carwash Brianna wrote, “I have gained a strong foundation in teamwork, a sense of independence, learned about the practices of a small business, and embraced the concept of earning something through hard work and personal effort. Working at the carwash and seeing the business side of things has even helped sparked my own interest in the business field, something which I plan to pursue after high school.”

Particularly meaningful to her about her job and the car wash industry is its focus on being environmentally friendly. Blue Cow Carwash reclaims its water and uses green cleaners and soaps. “We are an example in our community,” Brianna wrote, “dedicated to preserving our resources while still delivering the best car wash for our customers’ vehicles.”

Brianna has an outstanding academic record and was a student representative to the Anacortes School Board over the 2010–2011 school year. As a member of DECA, Brianna competed at the 2011 International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL, with a Finance Operations Project. In addition to her academic and community activities, she has studied ballet for 14 years. She will be attending New York University in the fall with an interest in studying Business and International Relations.
