A Spa for Your Car 
 
Utilize the following special promotion, “A Spa for Your Car,” to increase traffic to your business.  The multi-billion dollar spa industry offers consumers the ultimate in relaxation and a renewed spirit. Professional car washes and detailing services offer similar benefits - clean cars make people feel refreshed and more organized. In addition, a professional car wash is a time-saver. The “A Spa for Your Car” promotion capitalizes on these benefits and appeals to female audiences by likening professional car wash services to spas.

Tips for Executing the Promotion
  • Once per quarter, host a “Spa Special Weekend”
  • Partner with a local spa to get a free relaxation package for a customer give-away.
  • Offer a discount on spa services with the purchase of a detail package.
  • Reference your spa business partner in all signage/direct mail/advertising efforts; ask spa partner to place a small sign in a decorated picture frame (to keep it pretty!) at its check-out to raise awareness of the quarterly Spa Weekend co-promotion
  • Signage or advertising copy: “Win a spa day for you – and your car!”
  • Prepare an entry box and pick a winner at random. Post a congratulations on message/chalk board.
  • Winner receives car detail, along with spa day from business partner.
  • Media opportunities: team up with your spa partner and pitch a local feature reporter a story about the benefits of spas for one’s mind, body, spirit and car. Ask the winner to talk about his/her experience receiving a spa package that went beyond that of a traditional spa and included his/her car, too.
