The newest Mike's Carwash at 915 South Main Street celebrated its Grand Opening with a Free Ultimate Wash Weekend. Throughout the weekend, Mike's raised $12,515.87 in donations in support of Centerville High School's Spirit Chain Competition benefiting local charities, Oak Tree Corner and Brigid's Path.
"A huge thank you to everyone in the Centerville community that helped us to celebrate our newest location on South Main Street during our Grand Opening Weekend," said Mike Dahm, president of Mike's Carwash. "We are dedicated to giving back to the communities that we are a part of and are thrilled to be donating $12,515.87 to Centerville High School's Spirit Chain. Thank you to our amazing team members and all the local businesses, radio stations and mascots that contributed to the excitement and success of our Free Ultimate Wash Weekend."
The students of Centerville High School selected two local charities to benefit from their annual Spirit Chain Competition - Brigid's Path and Oak Tree Corner. Brigid's Path provides inpatient medical care for drug-exposed newborns, non-judgmental support for mothers and other caregivers, and education services to improve family outcomes. Oak Tree Corner provides a safe and caring community where children and teens from the Greater Dayton area can learn to deal with the grief from the death of someone important.
