Autobell® Car Wash, nation’s second largest car wash company, expands territory with first northern Virginia location

Jan 25, 2017
Autobell® Car Wash Inc., headquartered here, recently added a new market within its five-state territory, opening its first location in northern Virginia. The full-service car wash resides at 45655 Shepard Drive in Sterling, VA, in the former Sweetwater Splash Car Wash location. Lucas Farrants is the store manager.

The new location is the family-owned and -operated Autobell chain’s 77th store and its second in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, joining its Annapolis, MD, wash that opened last fall. Autobell is the nation’s second largest conveyor car wash company, offering an array of customized exterior and interior cleaning options, with most of its personalized wash services completed in 15 minutes or less.

“We’ve enjoyed an encouraging reception in the area for our brand of full-service car wash at the Annapolis location,” stated Autobell COO Carl Howard, “and we’re excited to continue this expansion with the Sterling store.”

The new wash and all locations of Autobell are currently open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
