, a long-standing central Indiana carwash organization, announces today that it is donating $6,608 to the Kokomo Tornado Relief fund.
From Sept. 10-12, Crew Carwash committed to donating 50 percent of all Works washes, a $15 value, and Ultimate washes, a $19 value, sold at its Kokomo location
(1824 E Hoffer Rd.) to the United Way of Howard County
. Crew also accepted cash donations throughout the three-day fundraiser.
The initiative resulted in a total of $6,608 to be donated to the United Way of Howard County and will go to providing disaster relief to those affected by the devastating tornadoes that tore through the city of Kokomo in late August.
“Kokomo is home to many of our team members and our customers, and there was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to make a contribution to the tornado relief fund,” said Sally Grant, executive vice president of Crew Carwash. “We are proud to be a part of the Kokomo community and to provide assistance to those who are in need of help.”
