ICA launches new series of events for car wash professionals

Jan 12, 2016

Based on member and industry research performed in 2015 to determine ways International Carwash Association can best serve the car wash  industry, ICA has launched several new networking, learning and social events for car wash professionals in 2016.

The events are part of a new “Events Series” that will compliment the world’s largest car wash events, The Car Wash Show and Car Wash Show Europe, on an ongoing basis. Four events will debut this year:

Splash! 2016 – October 25-26, 2016 | Las Vegas, Nevada

The ‘un’-tradeshow for car wash professionals, this event breaks the mold to bring a fresh approach to getting down to business. It’s still work; it’s just cleverly disguised as your kind of party! Product demonstrations, workshops, raffles, supplier displays and plenty of food and beverages highlight this 24-hour car wash festival at the Mirage Hotel.

Management Seminar – September 10-18, 2016 | Europe

ICA is bringing back one of its most popular offerings: a tour of car washes and historical sights in Europe. In 2016, ICA will offer a package tour of Germany, France and Switzerland that is perfect for owners and spouses. Space is limited.

Sporting Retreat – November 14-16, 2016 | Camilla, Georgia

You don’t need to be at a car wash to network with and learn from other operators, so join us on an outdoor excursion to one of the country’s top upland bird hunting lodges. Enjoy the opportunity to get away, while also building your network and creating new friendships. Space is limited.

Supplier Summit – November 2016, Chicago, Illinois

Join car wash supplier company leaders and executives for this unique opportunity to network, learn from others about the status of the car wash industry and hear about trends that will impact your business.

Details about a fifth new event, the Car Wash Excellence Summit, will be announced later in 2016.

“One of the best ways that ICA can help car wash operators succeed is by building and cultivating a community of people who are interesting in learning and sharing,” said ICA CEO Eric Wulf. “The Events Series is a new way for car wash professionals to gain ideas, build friendships – and have fun along the way.”
