Magic Johnson to Deliver Keynote at The Car Wash Show 2013

Jan 16, 2013

The International Carwash Association® is excited to announce the keynote speaker for The Car Wash Show 2013: Earvin “Magic” Johnson. You know Johnson as the MVP-winning point guard of the Los Angeles Lakers — his 13-year career in the NBA included five national championships, 12 NBA All-Star Games, a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics and induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame — but he has since become a successful businessman.

Attendees of The Car Wash Show 2013 — to be held April 22-24 in Las Vegas — are invited to take a “time out” with Johnson as he discusses his successes in business and in sports. You’d be surprised how his approach to leadership and work ethic apply both on the court and in the world of business.

Johnson’s business portfolio spans a variety of industries. He is an owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the chairman of VIBE Holdings LLC, a multicultural media company. As chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises, Johnson’s other businesses include a real estate and an equity fund, a television network, a staffing company, a food and facilities management company, a dropout prevention and recovery program, and more.

Beyond his successful business ventures, Johnson’s philanthropic organization, the Magic Johnson Foundation, is one of the most recognizable charitable organizations in the world. Above all, Johnson is committed to bringing jobs and brand-name businesses to underserved communities.

Attendees will also have the chance to ask Johnson questions during his presentation — don’t expect pointers on your jump shot, but do expect expert business advice!
