All seminars take place in the center of the hall, open to all visitors. The following seminars are currently scheduled, including exclusive access to the unveiling of ICA's first pan-European study of car wash customer preferences and habits.
Monday, 25 September
11.00 - New Car Wash Concepts
Tom Hoffman, Jr., the owner of the 21 store chain Hoffman Car Washes in the United States, will present a video tour of some of the their innovative new car wash ideas in the U.S. They’ve incorporated a blend of ideas from around the world to enhance the customer experience and drive revenue growth. Take a video tour, and ask questions, from the trade fair floor!
15.00 - The European Car Wash Customer, Part I
Eric Wulf, chief executive of International Carwash Association, will present the first in a two-part look at the first-of-its-kind European car wash customer study. The study, to be unveiled at Car Wash Show Europe, features an overview of the major trends and consumer preferences discovered in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.
Tuesday, 26 September
11.00 - Emerging Automotive Technologies and Impact
ADAS (automated driver assistance systems), autonomous cars and vehicle subscription services have the potential to change the car wash industry forever. Hear from a panel of car wash experts, backed by ICA gathered industry data, about their vision for how these new technologies will impact car wash owners.
15.00 - The European Car Wash Customer, Part II
This is part two of the European car wash customer study, taking a deeper look into customer preferences in each of six European countries.
Wednesday, 27 September
11.00 - Car Wash Trends on Three Continents
David Begin, owner of Wild Blue Car Washes and President of International Carwash Association, Craig Campbell, president of the Australian Car Wash Association and Mark De Graaf, president of Bovag (the Dutch car wash association) provide a report on the major trends in their respective markets, including car wash model preference, merger and acquisition activity and new technologies.
