The International Carwash Association (ICA), the world’s leading organization for car wash professionals, today announced a new partnership with the Dutch and German car wash associations BOVAG and BTG to jointly support and endorse Car Wash Show Europe. The inaugural edition of this trade show and convention will take place from 5 to 7 October 2015 in the Amsterdam RAI exhibition centre. Mirroring the highly successful Car Wash Show in North America, Car Wash Show Europe is set to become a major biennial event for the professional car wash industry.
“We are delighted to be working together and endorse the Car Wash Show Europe with BOVAG and BTG,” comments ICA CEO Eric Wulf. “While there are other events with a car wash subsection in Europe, this will be the first event to be fully focused on the car wash business and the entire European market.”
“Over the past 15 years, the car wash market in the Netherlands has developed into one of the most innovative in the world,” says Mark de Graaf, Chairman of the BOVAG Board. “Dutch operators have travelled extensively to see the impressive car wash installations in the USA and Germany. Lately a lot of operators have visited the Netherlands to see our indoor car wash facilities and we have been honoured to host our international guests. ‘BOVAG is proud that the ICA has chosen Amsterdam as the location for the first carwash show outside the USA. We hope this event will further enhance networking within the international carwash market.”
“It is great to see the car wash industry working together at an international level,” adds Thomas Drott from BTG. “We are very positive about the international partnership with ICA and BOVAG and it will be a pleasure to share a common stand with these organizations and our friends.”
Car Wash Show Europe is also the first European event to be created from within the car wash industry rather than by outside parties. It will feature three areas of value for car wash operators and suppliers: educational seminars, a trade fair and networking opportunities. The result is an exceptionally efficient way for car wash professionals to come together in a business-like environment.
“The seminars are certainly going to be of interest to car wash operators as they include information that is not available elsewhere,” adds ICA Board Chairman Gary Dennis. “We’re going to be sharing best practices from successful car wash operators in different markets, as well as bringing in perspectives from other industries.”
